Closed, Not Gone

Description
Shot at night during the pandemic. Café Hamra: once a landmark on Hamra Street. A place people met by it or in it. Good food, long conversations, familiar faces. That night, the lights were still on, but the doors were closed. Shelves full. Streets quiet. A pause forced on a place built for gathering. This photograph holds what remained when the city stopped, presence without people, memory without noise. Black and white fine art print, preserving texture, contrast, and time.
