Description
On the corniche, people gather facing the sea. Some stand close, others keep their distance. All of them wait. Waiting to be hit by water, the way children do. Waiting for a perfect break, clean and satisfying. Or simply standing there, hypnotized by the rhythm in front of them. As the waves rise and crash, another question lingers: can the sea carry what we bring to it? With every impact, do our worries dissolve, even briefly, into motion and sound? The rain sharpens the moment, the pavement reflects the sky, and the city softens behind them. For a short while, everything moves outward. Captured in Beirut during winter and printed on fine art paper to preserve movement, reflection, and atmosphere. A shared pause between weight and release.
